Because, don't forget, nerds RULE!
This week, we are mathematicians. We ask questions, look for patterns, test ideas, and explain our reasoning. Sometimes the answers are obvious. Sometimes they’re hidden. And sometimes, the most important part isn’t the answer at all, but how we got there.
Across these activities, you’ll explore shapes, patterns, unknowns, and plenty of squares. You’ll count, calculate, and uncover the unknown using logic, patterns and not-so-obvious clues.
Why does this matter?
Because real mathematics isn’t about following procedural steps, it’s about finding relationships, making sense of information, and justifying your thinking. These are the same skills used by engineers, designers, scientists, and problem-solvers every day.
This is self-paced, so take your time. Be curious. Try different strategies. Make mistakes and learn from them.
The video below will show around the site and introduce the activities. When you're ready, feel free to do a quick check-in or head straight to the activities page.
